Dr. Kristine E. Galek

OWNER

Dr. Galek received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, her master’s degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and her doctoral degree from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. She is an entrepreneur, professor, active researcher, and well-published author whose work spans swallowing, voice, motor speech, and resonance disorders. Her expertise centers on assessment and intervention for swallowing disorders across the lifespan, as well as voice and airway-related disorders, resonance, and paradoxical vocal fold movement. Dr. Galek is a practicing clinician with over 30 years of experience and is an ASHA ACE. She is approved continuing education provider through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Maralaya

Maralaya is a native Nevadan who earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, completing her training in the Speech Pathology program. She currently practices in Las Vegas and Henderson, where she is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Maralaya completed her endoscopy training through the University of Nevada, Reno and successfully met all endoscopy competency requirements, strengthening her clinical expertise in the assessment and management of swallowing disorders.


With strong academic preparation and hands-on clinical experience, Maralaya brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to her practice. She is deeply motivated by a desire to serve her community and to support patients and families through compassionate, ethical, and effective care. Her work reflects both her professional dedication and her personal commitment to improving access to specialized speech-language pathology services across Southern Nevada.


Mary

Mary is an Arizona native who earned her graduate degree from Baylor University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She currently practices in Kingman, Az with a primary focus on patients post stroke and with dementia. Mary completed her endoscopy training with Dr. Erik Blicker, during which time she strengthened her assessment management and diagnostic skills as they pertained to dysphagia.


Mary has a strong commitment to her patients and her community. She continues to advance her knowledge through clinical experience and educational opportunities. Mary strives to provided evidence based, patient centered care that reflects her commitment, compassion and ethics.
